New York State Office Building #5, Harriman Campus

Plumbing – HVAC – Fire Protection

DiGesare Mechanical was awarded the HVAC and Plumbing contracts which included the fire protection work by Condor Fire. Work on the six-story, 235,000 square foot office building began in March of 2014 and was completed in just over a year. Even with multiple unforeseen conditions that come with a complete rehab of an existing building, precision planning and coordination allowed the project to finish ahead of schedule DMI was awarded early completion bonuses on both contracts.

Golub Corporation Corporate Headquarters

DMI Contract- 5.2 million

DiGesare Mechanical started on this project with the underground plumbing and went on to negotiate the HVAC Core and Shell followed by the HVAC Tenant Fit-out.  The six-story, 240,000 square foot office building features test kitchens, an employee cafeteria, a 150-seat auditorium and a full service state of the art fitness center.

The HVAC design included high efficiency boilers and chillers, energy saving temperature controls, a large snowmelt system throughout the sidewalks and three micro-turbines installed on the roof which all contributed to the facility receiving LEED Gold Certification.

Plumbing 
DMI Contract – 1.5 Million

This multi-million dollar plumbing project consisted of a 427,000 square foot 14 story office tower, plus a penthouse and 129,000 square foot, six story-parking garage. When this project went over the owner’s budget, DMI put our value engineering skills to work and along with the construction manager and design team we were able to redesign specific portions of the mechanical system, which in the end resulted in over a 10% savings to the owner on their mechanical system.

New York State Lottery Headquarters

DMI Contract – 3.2 Million

This contract negotiated by DMI consisted of a ten story, 310,000 square foot office tower. In addition to DMI furnishing and installing the basic Plumbing and HVAC associated with the construction of this project, DMI was also responsible to furnish and install a state of the art 240 ton cooling system comprising 22 Liebert computer room air conditioning and humidification systems to environmentally control the hundreds of sophisticated computers required to keep the state lottery system up and running 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

MVP Health Plan Office Headquarters

Plumbing - Design / Build Contract

New state of the art 175,000 SF office building and 875 car parking garage to combine main headquarters and a number of satellite offices that they have had to maintain to house their ever expanding staff.

The construction of this project was extremely difficult due to site constraints in a busy downtown area and dramatic grade changes.
