SUNY Albany, Mohawk Tower

Plumbing – HVAC
DMI Contract- 4.9 million

DiGesare Mechanical was awarded this HVAC and Plumbing contract by Kirchoff-Consigli.  The 100,000 square foot, 24-story high-rise residence hall houses 440 beds with lounge space, and a weather observatory on the roof level.  DMI ran multiple heating and plumbing piping lines from the basement to the top floor, but perhaps the most coordinated effort on the HVAC system was the replacement of the rooftop equipment which had to be set with a helicopter at the highest point of the building.
